Abstract. In recent years, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) in the psychiatric field has been rapidly developing. This narrative review seeks to provide insight into how these technologies may be used in psychiatric disorders. VR is used above all to analyze symptoms in detail and personalize therapy. AI is used above all to make early diagnosis and accurate diagnosis. We conducted a search on PubMed and found 18 relevant studies. Most were reviews that focused on the effectiveness of AI and VR in early diagnosis, personalization of treatment, and accurate monitoring of symptoms with more targeted interventions. Despite many limitations, AI and VR could revolutionize psychiatry in the future.
